These exercises can help to build overall upper body strength and improve muscle tone. Additionally, the EZ curl bar can be used for other exercises that target different muscle groups, such as chest press, shoulder press, and bent over rows. These exercises can help to develop and strengthen the muscles located on the arms the biceps, triceps, and forearms. Some of the common exercises that can be performed with an EZ curl bar include triceps extensions, skull crushers, lying triceps extensions, and preacher curls. The idea caught on… Soon many strength equipment companies began selling their own version of this piece of equipment and today you’ll find an EZ Curl Bar in pretty much every gym in the world.” (Quoted from )Īn EZ curl bar can be used for a variety of exercises, not just regular bicep curls. As the story goes, Dymeck injured his wrist and training with a straight bar was too painful, so he invented this unusual bar to work around it. Dymeck invented the Dymek Curling bar (better known as the “EZ Curl” bar) and was granted the patent for it on May 23, 1950. “All the Gym Bros of the world owe a debt of gratitude to Lewis Dymek. This allowed bodybuilders to develop stronger and more defined bicep and triceps muscles, which is an important part of achieving the muscular, aesthetic physique that is often associated with bodybuilding. The EZ Curl bar was introduced around the 1950s during the golden era of bodybuilding and was developed as a tool to help to prevent overuse injuries, allowing bodybuilders to train more frequently and effectively. Additionally, the angled grip of the EZ curl bar can help target the bicep muscles more effectively, allowing for better muscle development. This can help reduce strain on the wrists and forearms, making the exercise more comfortable to perform. An EZ curl bar is a type of barbell with a curved shape that allows for a more comfortable and natural grip when performing bicep curls.

The gameplay in Slope is as simple as possible, but at the same time very addictive. Don’t let the ball escape the room, by clicking the screen at the correct moment to make the bottom wall appear. Description Slope Unblocked is a popular arcade game played all over the world This game was released in 2014 by publisher Y8 and immediately gained immense popularity among gamers. Here is our finished prototype of a game like Block It. The game we are making in this tutorial is only a bit more complicated, but most of the code it pretty similar.įunction newGame ( ) In my tutorial How To Make An HTML5 Canvas Game we have already seen how to make a game with a bouncing square inside a room. Making a game with the mechanics of Block It is pretty easy. As the game progresses, it becomes harder and harder to keep the ball from escaping the room. Every time the player successfully blocks the ball, the speed of the ball increases. The player can prevent the ball from escaping the room by touching the screen at the right moment, because when the ball collides with a wall, the ball is bounced back. Evil green blocks have invaded this quadrant Your job is to eliminate them and restore peace to this quadrant. The goal of the game is to block the ball from moving out of the room. When the player touches the screen, a fourth wall appears. The game consist of a moving ball that is enclosed in a room with three walls. Block It is an action game that requires fast reflexes from the player. Depending what device you are on use your mouse or your finger to steer. In this tutorial we are creating a protoype of a game like the mobile game Block It from Ketchapp Games. Try to find a path through the blocks by shooting them with your rocket. Unfortunately, the resolution of the data the multipatch is based off of is quite coarse at ~8km. The screenshots below are the subsequent service layers in a WAB (dev edition) application. The extruded layer was then converted to a multipatch via the Layer 3D to Feature Class tool. The multipatch was created by extruding the features to a depth from surface field in ArcPro (relative to ground). Exactly how were they created? Can you provide some screen captures? (You might need to create more complex 3D solid object features in a 3rd party 3D drawing software as ArcGIS is very limited in this area. I suspect your polygon multipatches do not fully enclose a volume. Intersection also succeeded without errors. (See screen captures below) I then created some circular polygons, extruded them and converted them to multipatch features. Intersection succeeded without errors and produced expected results. I was also able to calculate volume of the spheres. Extruded 3D Areas to generate a 3D area feature with the extrusion mode. I tried running an example with spheres and created 2 intersecting multipatch feature classes. If selected, the Generate Multi-Patch Features for Areas option specifies that. Personally, I have not had a lot of success using "Extrude Between" with complex surfaces) You can work around this limitation by using the 'Layer 3d to Feature Class' GP tool to create a multipatch of the extruded polygons, then publishing that multipatch to a local or hybrid Portal - however you won't be able to publish it direct to ArcGIS Online as of this release. (Unless you extrude between 2 TIN surfaces which should produce a closed multipatch. Multipatch features created with the Interpolate multipatch to polygon (using a surface) tool can likely not be closed. To close a multipatch feature, it must completely enclose a volume. 8/3/2023 0 Comments Mining machine smurfs villageWhen the two ogres are driven away, Hefty apologizes to Timid. Despite Timid's easy-to-notice reluctance and Smurfette's warnings, Hefty doesn't listen, causing Timid to run into the forest and gets caught by the ogres. In " Curing Private Timid", he takes Timid Smurf under his wing to teach him some self-confidence. This ego often makes him accidentally forget his fellow Smurfs' feelings. Hefty also has a slight ego, though not as bad as Brainy. He can also be very persistent, shown in " Ogre Love", where he repeatedly tries to stop Bigmouth from taking Smurfette and even after he is consistently hurt, he tries to go with Papa Smurf, Handy, and Brainy to Bigmouth's house to save Smurfette. In " Mirror, Mirror On The Armoire", when trying to save Brainy and Blossom from Gargamel's magical armoire that will lock up anyone who looks at it, he shows off his muscles, but he is captured when he winks to the mirror. While at home, Hefty refuses to let his fellow Smurfs (except Smurfette and Baby) visit at first, embarrassed to be seen in such a vulnerable state, feeling miserable and lost without being able to walk around and exercise as usual.Ī more negative trait for Hefty is that he sometimes thinks with his muscles rather than with his brain. In " A Smurfy Christmas", he considers and later tries to beat up Jokey for deliberately mixing up the Christmas letters.Īt the beginning of " Hefty's Heart", Hefty has a noticeably nicer attitude than most episodes, as he is shown helping Lazy and Brainy without any irritability and sings about how he loves helping his friends while out chopping firewood in the forest.Īfter breaking his leg in " Hefty And The Wheelsmurfer", Hefty is left temporarily bed bound. Hefty's aggressiveness tends to bring out the worst in him. If he feels provoked or intimidated by anyone (or anything), Hefty often feels the need to either prove his strength or deliver a pounding. Despite his friendliness, Hefty is also prone to getting aggressive, as he is the main Smurf to give Brainy a clobbering in the comics and a toss out of the village in both cartoons. Hefty is known for being heroic, brave, earnest, trustworthy, confident, friendly, protective, and strong-willed. He is also one of the few Smurfs who will accept any kind of dangerous journey, making him one of the top choices to send out of the Village to retrieve something. Hefty mainly carries the heavy load that other Smurfs can't. He can manage to bend things that only can be bent with machines, such as metal poles. Prior to " The Jewel Smurfer", the only thing that visually separates Hefty from the other Smurfs was his tendency to carry around a halberd. In " Grandir avec les Schtroumpfs" and the 2021 series, he has a noticeable toned upper body. In the 1981 series, his heart tattoo had an arrow shot through it. He is easily identified by the heart tattoo on his right upper arm, although it sometimes appears on the left upper arm or both upper arms. However, in " Smurfy Secrets", it is revealed that Hefty greases his chest to look strong. Hefty is also the most athletic of the Smurfs, able to climb up tall trees and bring down whatever is up there without much effort. He spends his mornings exercising, and his house is full of work-out equipment. In " Smurfette Overdoes It!", Papa Smurf has remarked as Hefty not always being as needed as other Smurfs, so he claims that Hefty's job is lifting weights to stay active. Also, he has a quick temper and can be a hothead, jumping into action without thinking things through and creating his own brand of chaos. Unfortunately for Hefty, he falls short in the humor department, taking everything quite literally. And though they all respect him, sometimes the others act particularly naughty or extra sloppy, just to test his sense of humor. This also means he can lose patience with his tribe’s disorderly behavior and constant flirtation with chaos. His bulging muscles make him feel protective of and responsible for his fellow band of Smurfs, even if they don’t believe they need protecting. Hefty is naturally extra strong, and he believes that with great power comes great responsibility. 7.5 The Smurfs 2: The Video Game (Console).7.2 The Smurfs: The TeleTransport Smurf. 8/3/2023 0 Comments Creating a digital media kitThey have three different sections on their Media kit: “Press kit”, “Logo and Brand Assets”, and “Product Screenshots”, which is convenient and well organized. Press kits are no longer only sent to professional PR or communication companies. Use it during your own promoting campaigns – in press conferences, email campaigns, landing pages for lead generation, or meetings. Uploading it as a PDF on your website may not be enough. It is important to choose the right channel to share this kit. Build it as a call to action for all your potential clients. At most, your startup press kit should be a double-sided information page, including contact information and the main details about your products or events. Keep in mind that those who read the kit are always in a hurry. The best kits also provide images, clips, and other marketing materials that reporters can include in their articles. Its main purpose is to introduce them to you and your business as quickly as possible. A media kit is a specialized page or section of your website which offers informative resources for the press. What is a press kit? What does a press kit consist of?Ī press kit, press page, or media kit, is all the same thing. This means a lot of clicks and views on your page, as well as new potential clients. The more popular the publication which writes about you, the wider your exposure. 8/3/2023 0 Comments Space black hole“This approach could let us detect many more black holes beyond our local universe and reveal how these exotic objects evolved further back in cosmic time. The supermassive black hole, which is likely around 20 million times the mass of our Sun, is zooming through the universe at about 3.5 million miles per hour. Gravitational lensing, however, makes it possible to locate and study “inactive” black holes in distant galaxies, which was previously impossible. “Most of the biggest black holes that we know about are in an active state, where matter pulled in close to the black hole heats up and releases energy in the form of light, X-rays, and other radiation,” says Dr Nightingale. Confirming the size also involved using supercomputer simulations and images captured by the Hubble Space Telescope. Essentially, scientists observed how the black hole’s extreme gravitational pull bent light from a nearby galaxy – kind of like a magnifying glass – as it warped surrounding spacetime. The first actual image to be produced came in 2019, allowing us to view a black hole 6.5 billion times the mass of the sun by looking at the hot, bright disk of material that surrounded it.įor the first time, this most recent ultramassive black hole was spotted using a phenomenon called gravitational lensing. But ironically, given their size, they’re very difficult to spot. A black hole is a dense, compact object whose gravitational pull is so strong that within a certain distance of it nothing can escape, not even light. It’s thought that every large galaxy has a supermassive black hole at its centre. Black holes are regions of spacetime from which nothing, not even light, can escape. What are black holes, exactly? Well, they’re essentially places in space – often the result of a collapsed star – that produce so much gravity that even light can’t escape their clutches. The supermassive black hole, which is likely around 20 million times the mass of our Sun, is zooming through the universe at about 3.5 million miles per hour. This, he says, makes it an “extremely exciting discovery”. According to Dr James Nightingale, the lead author of the report and a researcher in the physics department at the University of Durham, it’s actually on the “upper limit” of how large we believe black holes can theoretically become (between 10 and 40 billion times the mass of the sun). The line of stars is more than 200,000 light years long, which means the black hole left its galaxy around 40 million years ago.In fact, at around 33 billion times the mass of the sun, the black hole is one of the biggest ever found by astronomers. At the tip of the trail, van Dokkum and his colleagues found a bright knot of ionised oxygen, indicating that the black hole is slamming into the gas around it as it hurtles away at speeds around 1600 kilometres per second. Quasars, the most extreme phenomena in the universe, are triggered when galactic collisions deliver gas to feeding. It is most likely that the massive object is a supermassive black hole that once resided at the centre of the galaxy. The most powerful black holes in the universe may finally have an explanation. “It looks to the eye like something shot out of that galaxy, and now something very massive is barrelling through space at incredible velocities.” “There’s this weird straight line that points to the heart of this little galaxy, and we’ve never seen something like that before,” says Pieter van Dokkum at Yale University, who spotted this oddity. A black hole is what remains when a massive star dies and its matter is squished together into an incredibly tiny space. The fast-moving black hole, which is roughly 3. Some black holes are a result of dying stars. A supermassive black hole is racing across the universe at 110,000 mph (177,000 km/h), and the astronomers who spotted it don't know why. This compression can take place at the end of a stars life. The strong gravity occurs because matter has been pressed into a tiny space. A new image from the Hubble Space Telescope shows a trail of stars leading away from a galaxy nearly 11 billion light years away, which may indicate a supermassive black hole that has been flung away and is leaving bursts of star formation in its wake. This is because the black hole’s gravitational field warps space-time, the fabric of the universe, and light must follow this distorted path. A black hole is a region in space where the pulling force of gravity is so strong that light is not able to escape. Artist’s impression of a runaway supermassive black hole with stars in its wakeĪ cosmic behemoth seems to have escaped its home galaxy.
